The combination of both resulted in beautiful pieces that are loose and easy, but also pleasurable (the opposite of utilitarian pieces you suffer through wearing, these are delicious knits, soft leathers, and liquid-like silks you’d look forward to putting on).”

From conception to execution, the below are examples of projects I helped develop from idea to publication. My role as editor included pre- and post-work, from prepping mood boards and shot lists to actively contributing on-set and building and editing the final package.

ELLE x Saks

For an ongoing partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, I pitched a service- and shopping-focused story that answered the brand’s request to showcase the flagship location’s recently renovated handbag floor. We cast model Louise Follain for maximum social exposure, focused on style tips that would be relevant for the ELLE reader, and stacked the story with embedded shopping galleries to enhance the CTR. The result was a win for both editorial and the team at Saks.

ELLE x Stuart Weitzman

I tapped into my deep knowledge of SEO trends and performance to craft a boot story that would organically perform while also addressing the brand’s desire to showcase their range of boots. Curating their vast collection, I organized classic styles and current-season styles into five key trends, packing each with service for how to wear them and providing options to shop.

ELLE x Gucci

We created a stunning fashion story worthy of glossy print pages to celebrate Gucci’s exclusive line of raffia accessories. While the product was the hero, it was imperative for the editorial side that we found a way to discuss them that wouldn’t feel like an advertisement. The end result had plenty of beautiful, atmosphere-evoking photography, but also copy that highlighted ways to entertain yourself on a solo vacation.
